IMMIGRATION LAWYERS IN INDIANA SCORE PRO-BONO CASE FOR INDIA BURN VICTIM TO COME TO CAMP PHOENIX IN OHIO.

PRESS RELEASE – INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – JULY 29th 2015:

Every day the immigration lawyers and immigration law professionals at the Nachman Phulwani Zimovcak (NPZ) Law Group, P.C., help the dreams of foreign national coming to the U.S. to become true. However, this past week, the VISASERVE TEAM contributed to making one very important dream come true for a burn victim in India.

Recently, the U.S. Consulate in Mumbai approved the application for a visitor’s visa for a young burn victim. Working in connection with a not-for-profit organization called the Burn Advocate’s Network in NJ, the Metro Health Center in Ohio and the Comprehensive Burn Care Center in Ohio, the U.S. immigration and nationality lawyers at NPZ Law Group planned, coordinated and filed a special visa for a young lady from India who, this summer, will be the first Indian ever to attend to a Burn Camp called “Camp Phoenix” in the United States.

The mission of the Burn Advocates Network is to support burn survivors – whether they are children, young men and women who are wounded in combat, or the elderly – as they face the challenges of recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration. The key to recovery for burn survivors is access to health care, including medical, surgical, and psychiatric care.Burn Camps help young burn survivors cope with their painful new world. In the course of a few days at camp, campers build self-confidence, friendship, and learn that there is life after burns. The Burn Advocates Network is currently the only organization that aids burn camps all around the country by sending them recreational equipment and volunteers. It raises money to allow the camps to reach more children in need, and to provide them with more therapeutic activities. The Camps work with the Burn Advocates Network to identify and match burn survivors with programs that best suit their needs, and with veteran burn survivors that can serve as their counselors and mentors.

Camp Phoenix, located in the State of Ohio and is headed by Dr. Ajay Khandelwal. Every year, Camp Phoenix offers to kids and teens who have been victims of burn injuries a week of games, sports, recreational and work-on-team activities. NPZ Law Group, P.C.’s office in Indiana, prepared and filed the candidate’s special nonimmigrant visa application and personally met and prepared the candidate for a coaching session in it’s affiliated office in India.

“It continues to give us great pleasure to assist the Burn Advocate Network’s important work with burn victims throughout the world become a reality,” says David H. Nachman, Esq., one of the Managing Attorneys at the NPZ Law Group. Ludka Zimovcak, Esq., one of the other Managing Attorneys at the Firm states: “As always, Nachman Phulwani and Zimovcak (NPZ) Law Group, P.C. is pleased to continue contributing and assisting both for-profit and non-profit clients with every step of the U.S. visa application process”.
