EB1(b)ビザは、優れた教授・研究者向けです。 EB1(b)の認定レベルはEB1(a)ビザよりも比較的低くなっています。 ただし申請者が特定の学問分野での業績について国際的に認められている必要があります。志願者は、研究者・教師として少なくとも3年の経験が必要です。また最低3人の専任研究者(高等教育機関、大学、民間の雇用主)によって後援されている必要があります。 申請者は、業績の客観的、広範な証拠を提出することにより認定される確率があがります。

マネージャー、およびエグゼクティブ– EB1(c）ビザ
EB1(c)は、エグゼクティブ・マネージャー向けです。 L-1Aビザの資格要件と多くの点で類似しています。 申請者は、申請後3年以内に、スポンサーとなる米国企業に何らかの形で関連する組織によって、米国外で少なくとも1年間エグゼクティブ・マネージャーとして雇用されている必要があります。 それに加えて、申請者は、米国企業で経営、もしくは管理職として働く必要があります。
