L-1ビザプログラムの修正:DHSは、L-1ビザプログラムに関連して「専門知識」、「雇用」、「雇用者と従業員」の定義の改訂を提案します。
I-485ステータス手続き調整の改訂:DHSは2023年5月に規則案を公開します。これにより一部のビザカテゴリーは処理時間を短縮し、可用性を拡大するために、申請の調整の処理時間が改善されます。
H-1Bビザプログラムの修正:DHSは、「雇用者と従業員の関係」に関連するH-1Bビザプログラム規則、職場による規定、H-1Bビザ登録の合理化、また関連する規則の改訂を目指しています。ステータスを F-1ビザからH-1Bビザに変更する個人へのガイドラインも更新予定です。

H-1Bビザ、PERM、E-3ビザカテゴリーの賃金方法の改訂:DOLは先日、特定の非移民、移民労働者の最低賃金を決定するため利用される方法を改訂する暫定規則を発表しました。 その結果、該当するカテゴリーの一般的な賃金が上昇します。 労働省によると米国労働者に支払われる率よりも長い間低く設定されてきたという立場を取っています。 最終規則は2022年10月に公開される予定です。

領事館のビザ料金の引き上げ:米国国務省(DOS)は、領事館の手数料の値上げは、Non-petition-based visa feeは、$160.00から$245.00になり、またPetition-based visa fees は190.00ドルから310.00ドルに増加します。
H-1Bビザポリシーの代わりにB-1ビザ終了: DOSは申請者が独自にB-1ビザの資格を持たない限り、H-1Bビザ、H-3ビザとして分類可能な個人に対するB-1ビザの発行を中止することを提案しています。
