アメリカで勉強をしたいと考えている人は、コースと目的に応じて以下のビザが選択できます。

• F-1ビザ：学生ビザ

学校を見つける: その学校が、学生交換訪問者プログラム（SEVP）に認定されていることを確認してください。SEVP認定学校はGoogleで検索できます。

I-20またはDS-2019フォームを受け取る: 学校からForm I-20（F1/M1ビザ用）またはDS-2019フォーム（J1ビザ用）が送られてきます。

SEVIS料金を支払う: I-20を受け取ったらフォームI-901を使用しSEVIS（学生・交換訪問者情報システム）料金をオンラインで支払ってください。領収書を印刷して保存してください。

DS-160フォームを記入する: 個人情報、学歴（職歴）、財政の詳細などが必要です。面接で問題が発生しないように正確に記入してください。

面接の予約を入れる: 日本国内にある米国大使館の中から、オンラインでビザの予約をいれてください。大使館によって手順が異なる場合がありますが、待ち時間は最短で1〜4週間です。

ビザ申請料を支払う: 面接を予約したらオンラインで支払いをしてください。

面接の準備をする: DS-160フォーム、I-20、SEVIS領収書、財政証明（銀行発行の残高証明）、該当する場合は試験結果（TOEFLなど）を準備してください。すべての質問に明確かつ正直に答えてください。

ビザ発行料金（該当する場合）: 一部の大使館ではビザが承認された後に追加の料金が発生する場合があります。

承認されたら学校(コース)が始まる30日前までにアメリカに入国できます。入国審査で考えられる質問に答える準備もしておきましょう。

学生ビザの承認率が高くなっているので、今は勉強で渡米したい人にとっては良い機会です。
