秋、カナダで勉強したいと考えている留学生たちは、現在旅行制限がかかっている為、不安に直面しています。カナダはこの状況を認めて、カナダの移民プログラムがこれらの不確実性なことに柔軟に対応できるようにし、学生はオンラインでプログラムを行っていた期間も卒業後に働ける資格が認められるようになります。
この変更は、海外からオンラインでカナダの学習プログラムを開始する必要がある、また開始したい学生のために、卒業後就労許可プログラムの資格規則の柔軟性を高めるために行われています。
変更点は以下の通りです。
１． 学生は、2021年4月30日まで海外からオンラインで勉強をすることができます。卒業後の就労許可証から差し引かれる期間はありません。ただし最終的にカナダで学習プログラムの50％が完了している必要があります。
２． 2020年5月から9月までの開始日で、8〜12か月のプログラムに登録した学生は、海外からオンラインでプログラム全体を完了することができ、卒業後も引き続き労働許可の資格を得ることができます。
３． 開始日が2020年5月から9月のプログラムに登録し、2021年4月30日までオンラインで学習し、複数の適格な学習プログラムを卒業した学生は、彼らの全研究の50％がカナダで完了している限り、卒業後の就労許可を申請する際、複数のプログラムの期間を組み合わせることができます。
これらの措置の対象となるには、学生は、2020年の春、夏、秋、または2021年1月の学期に研究プログラムを開始する前に、研究許可申請書を提出している必要があります。全ての学生は、最終的には就学許可を取得する必要があります。
