2023年に我々が繰り返し受ける質問は「結婚ビザ・婚約者ビザを急いで発行することはできますか？」です。現在発行までに遅延が起きているため、この質問の答えは今まで以上に重要です。ここでは現在利用可能なオプションや迅速な選択肢、海外での申請に関連するさまざまな話題について明るみにすることを目指しています。

過去1年あまりで特に海外の大使館や領事館で婚約者ビザ・結婚ビザを申請する際、事情が劇的に変わっています。一部の地域の大使館は正常に運営され徐々に予約を取り始めていますが、他の地域ではキャパシティが限られているために進行が遅く、その結果多くの申請者はビザ発行を早く進める方法を探しています。

婚約者ビザと結婚ビザ：どちらが早い？

2023年に婚約者ビザと結婚ビザの両方の処理時間がほぼ同じであるため、多くの申請者は可能であれば結婚ビザを選択しています。コロナ前は婚約者ビザは結婚ビザよりも早く処理されていました。しかし2023年の現状はどちらもほぼ同じくらいの時間を要しています。

発行を急ぐ方法

結婚・婚約者ビザのケースの進行を急がせることは可能です。email.govポータルを使用しご自身の申請をNational Visa Centerへリクエストを送信することができます。Statement、文書、リクエストのために重要と考える書類を含めてリクエストを送る必要があります。

処理時間

現在ほとんどの婚約者ビザは処理に約2年かかっています。例外もあり一部のケースは少し時間が短くなることもありますが、K1ビザについては1年半以下はほとんどありません。ポイントとして婚約者ビザが処理中のときに結婚するとその時点でケースは終了します。結婚により婚約者ビザがキャンセルされるため申請を再提出し結婚に基づくビザのプロセスを最初から開始する必要があります。

婚約者ビザ・結婚ビザ：どちらを選ぶべき？

この質問への答えは大部分がその方の状況によります。可能であれば長い目で見て結婚に基づく申請の方が良いかもしれません。より安価であり時間が短くなる可能性もあり、さらにアメリカに来た後にグリーンカードを再申請する必要がないためです。

ケースの承認を急いでもらう別の方法として、医療状況、妊娠、子供が年齢制限を超えるリスクに基づきリクエストを出すことも可能です。また議会の援助を求めることもできます。これらが常に効果的であるわけではありませんが、試してみて損をすることはありません。

2023年に、婚約者ビザを選択するか、結婚に基づくケースを選択するかは個人の選択です。申請がなかなか進まなかったり助けが必要な場合、支援するためのリソースがあることを覚えておいてください。
