The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has announced a significant change to how Business Visa inquiries are handled.
- Since July 2005, the Business Visa Center (businessvisa@state.gov) has assisted businesses, partners, and customers around the world.
- As of March 2025, DOS has transitioned away from this system. All inquiries must now be directed through the Visa Navigator – Business Visa Center.
According to the DOS update:
- Inquiries must be submitted through Visa Navigator prompts.
- Direct emails to businessvisa@state.gov may not receive a response.
- The Business Visa Center aims to respond within three business days, though complex requests may take longer.
- Duplicate inquiries can delay processing.
The Visa Navigator – Business Visa Center is typically found on U.S. embassy and consulate websites.
