Recent updates from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) show a sharp decline in program applications and tougher inspections to ensure fair and lawful treatment of workers.

With penalties now reaching up to $1 million and permanent bans for repeat offenders, employers face heightened accountability under Canada’s new labor integrity framework.
