EB-1(a) - Extraordinary Ability

The EB1-1 Extraordinary Ability visa/green card classification is used by foreign nationals who have extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics. This classification is awarded to a small percentage of people who have risen to the top of their profession.

To qualify for an EB1-1 Extraordinary Ability visa/green card, the applicant must show extensive documentation, such as:

  •  authorship of scholarly articles;
  •  receipt of nationally or internationally recognized prizes or awards ;
  •  membership in associations in the applicant's field that demand outstanding achievement of their members;
  •  evidence of the alien's original contributions of major significance to the field.
The immigration attorneys of NPZ Law Group have successfully helped foreign nationals obtain EB1-1 Extraordinary Ability visas/green cards. Our experienced staff members also provide support services to help immigrants and their family members with social security cards, driver's licenses, and other transfer and relocation issues.
