USCIS Urges Quick Responses to Requests for Evidence

USCIS has sent Requests for Evidence (RFEs) to many employment-based adjustment of status applicants, asking for a valid medical clearance (Form I-693). Although applicants have up to 87 days to respond, USCIS encourages prompt submission of all requested documents to ensure timely case adjudication and visa allocation before October 1, 2024.

To respond, send the complete RFE response to the address on the RFE notice. USCIS accepts responses by mail, commercial services, and courier. If you have already responded, no further action is needed.

This reminder is to ensure your Form I-693 is valid and on file. Visit uscis.gov/i-693 for more information.
