U.S. and Canadian Immigration and Nationality Law Specialist Lawyer and Attorney
SNEHAL BATRA, ESQ. is the Managing Attorney of Raritan, New Jersey office of NPZ Law Group. Ms. Batra has been a practicing attorney licensed in New Jersey since 2001.
Ms. Batra is an Indian-American attorney with a passion for immigration law which derives from being an immigrant herself. Having been born in India and raised in New Jersey, Snehal understands firsthand the many difficulties and challenges that immigrants commonly experience while engaged in the U.S. immigration process. As such, she is eager to help families, businesses and individual immigrants to realize the American dream.
Ms. Batra’s practice includes all areas of US business/family immigration and Naturalization. She assists international businesses of all sizes with intracompany transfers L-1, H-1B, TN, E-2, O-1, PERM, National Interest Waiver and also represents individuals with family-based immigration to help clients successfully navigate U.S. immigration laws.
In addition, she handles H-1B Site visits, FDNS Investigations, DOL Wage & Hour Audits. Ms. Batra regularly travels to India to present seminars on L-1A and EB-5 to many organizations. She has been frequently quoted in the Time of India and has numerous articles related to US immigration published. Ms. Batra has been a panelist on many Immigration seminars including the AILA national conference, NJ State Bar Association, and many prestigious US Universities.
Ms. Batra earned a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, NJ and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honors in Political Science from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ.
Ms. Batra is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 2001. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, SABA-NJ, and is also Co-Chair of the Immigration Law Section of the Somerset County Bar Association. She is a Board Member and Co-chair of the Minority Business Leaders Roundtable of the Somerset County Business Partnership. Ms. Batra is also a Board member of the Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce, Branchburg Rotary and a Board of Trustee for the Literacy Volunteer of Somerset County. Ms. Batra is also an advisor to INSTALAW. Lastly, Ms. Batra is fluent in Gujarati.
